TAARE ZAMEEN PAR
Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.
EVERY CHILD HAVE A DIFFRENT WAY TO THINK,,,,EVERY CHILD IS SPECIAL AND UNIQUE.
“A child is a gift of God, a blessing from above, a picture of purity and innocence.”
As Rabindranath Tagore says, ‘every child comes with a message that God is not yet discouraged of man’. Every child is a star on earth, is special, who enriches and cleanses the soul, an empty canvas, waiting to be painted with love.”

SUMMARY OF FILM
The movie is about an 8 year old boy Ishaan Awasthi (Darsheel Safary) who finds it difficult to match his world of colors, kites and animals to that of the others in his age group, who are more into studies and homework. When complaints start to pour in, Ishaan’s parents decide to set him off to a boarding school. His life is no different at the boarding school, oppressed and insulted by his teachers, he remains the laugh stock of the class. Now that he is away from home, he feels even more dejected, inferior and finds it tough to cope up with his inabilities.Ram Shankar Nikumbh (Aamir Khan) gets appointed as a temporary art teacher of the boarding school. Unlike other teachers who follow definite norms in educating children, Ram makes them think out of books, outside the four walls of the classroom and paint their imaginations. Every child in class responds with immense enthusiasm except Ishaan. Ram takes effort to understand Ishaan and his problems. He makes Ishaan’s parents and other teachers realize that he is not abnormal but a very special child with talents of his own. With time, patience and care Ram succeeds in boosting the confidence level of Ishaan. He helps Ishaan in overcoming his inabilities and re-discover his lost confidence.
THEME OF THE MOVIE
Dyslexia is the central topic and theme of the film. This film raise awareness of the issue of dyslexia, and prompt more open discussions among parents, schools, activists, and policymakers. The beauty of the narration is that the message applies to all children – learning disability or not. How can creativity not deserve a place in academics? It also points a very subtle finger at how we build conformation in our system right at the roots.
At the very outset, let's make one thing clear. Taare Zameen Par isn't one of those films that merely entertains, but also enlightens. Taare Zameen Par is one film that makes you peep into a child's mind and how some parents, in their pursuit to make them 'stronger' academically, forget that there's hitherto untapped talent that needs to be nourished and encouraged.Taare Zameen Par drives home a strong message, making you empathise with the kid, compelling you to draw parallels with your life, making one realise that some of the renowned geniuses were once scoffed at, but the world had to bow down to their intellect later.
Sure, the film boasts of a story that strikes a chord, but most importantly, it has been treated with such sensitivity and maturity that you're left shell-shocked with amazement by the sheer impact it leaves at the end of the 18-reeler.
Taare Zameen Par heralds the birth of a top-notch storyteller?Aamir Khan. To choose a story that's a far cry from the mundane stuff that's being churned out like factory products requires courage and conviction, and to execute it with panache is a rarity.
